1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Shirt Brain Custom Products, Inc. (“Shirt Brain,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with Ledger, our bookkeeping and accounting support application.

2. Information We Collect

When Ledger is authorized to connect to QuickBooks Online or another accounting service, we may collect or access business and accounting information that is made available through that authorization. This may include company profile information, customers, vendors, invoices, estimates, payments, expenses, bills, accounts, transactions, reports, balances, categories, attachments, and related metadata.

We may also collect account and operational information, such as user names, email addresses, permission status, connection status, application logs, error reports, timestamps, device/browser metadata, and security or audit records needed to operate and protect Ledger.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate Ledger, connect to authorized accounting services, support bookkeeping and accounting workflows, generate summaries or reports, troubleshoot errors, monitor security, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, and improve the reliability and usefulness of the application.

4. QuickBooks Data

Ledger accesses QuickBooks Online data only after authorization through Intuit’s OAuth process. The scope of access depends on the permissions approved during connection. You may revoke Ledger’s access through your Intuit account or by contacting us. If access is revoked, Ledger may no longer be able to retrieve or update QuickBooks information.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information or accounting data. We may share information only as needed with service providers who help operate the application, with connected services you authorize, when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for business operations, bookkeeping support, security, compliance, troubleshooting, and legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, connected service requirements, accounting needs, and applicable law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and users should protect their own account credentials and connected service permissions.

8. Your Choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of information associated with Ledger by contacting us. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, accounting, security, or legal reasons. You may also manage or revoke QuickBooks access through your Intuit account.

9. Children’s Privacy

Ledger is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Ledger.

10. Location of Processing

Information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using Ledger, you understand that information may be processed outside of your local jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Ledger after an update means the revised policy applies.
